Next up on our trip down the walks we’ve done & have photographic proof of … Courtenay & Comox! This was not the first time we’d ever been to the area, but previous trips were either to the airport or for a specific store/event. But this time we were out for a drive because we were getting squirrelly with being at home the majority of the year, along with the rest of the world.
I had the great idea of going to the nice restaurant by the marina, but the sunshine had other ideas and it was too hot to leave Sadie in the car. Scott found a small restaurant close by & placed the order and we parked at the marina and enjoyed the best meatball sub I’ve ever had in my life!!! Sadly, they no longer make the meatball sub at the Tidal Cafe, but I’m assuming their menu is just as great as it was when we were there.

After lunch we headed out in the car to round the point and stopped at Point Holmes and were surprised by the lack of people and the massive ocean view - it just went on forever & ever! Not the most comfortable to walk on, as it's mainly rocks, but we trundled along nonetheless.

Our drive back down Island passed by a great bakery and I could’ve eaten every cake they had!

Just a cupcake. So sad.
